Damn I need to be rich.
Damn I need to be rich.
Ok I now have another CD that I absolutely have to buy. I am not sure if it exists or not, but I am pretty sure it does. And that is the Whitney Houston like greates hits collection or something. I watched her special on Nightline tonight. I think it was Nightline I always get them confused. Nonetheless, I love her to pieces. I remember being a little girl and thinking "wow she has the prettiest teeth." Then I would like put my teeth together so they would look like hers. It is crazy all the shit that she has been through. But then I think about it.
Would it matter what she went through if she wasn't famous? If her husband wasn't famous? It is just as Bobby Brown said in the interview "people go through worse in marriages (and life). It is because we are in the public eye." And that's true I think. We judge her and criticize her, but who are we? We are just as bad, some even worse, than she is. People do drugs, people drink, people party, get in controlling relationships all the time. But because she, Mrs. Whitney Houston, is who she is the public thinks it is their right to know what is going on in her life. And it isn't.
It is almost like the whole Bill Clinton thing that happened a couple of years ago. What is it, like at least 50% of husbands cheat on their wives or something? And here is this man doing what million of other men do, but it is different somehow. He lied about it, yes. But what man doesn't lie about it? People like to say it is different because he was the president. No it wasn't. That only gave people more of an excuse to think it was their business. Now this man's reputation is scarred for eternity because of this. People aren't going to remember him being a wonderful leader they are going to rememeber him getting his dick sucked by someone who wasn't his wife. Heaven forbid.
Whitney Houston has been going through that for half of her lifetime. Imagine that! Imagine someone following you all the time, never having a moment's rest, and being the target for tabloids! That would be crazy.
After watching that program though I am want to buy her new CD. It sounds like it is going to be awesome. It comes out next Tuesday. She duets with Bobby Brown. Plus I want her greatest hits and I still want the 8 Mile Soundtrack.
Damn I need to be rich.
Oh and I think I am changing my layout back to the way it was. Mine was personally wonderful, but this one is artistically wonderful.
